Ryu, I surveyed the Belconnen Golf Course on Saturday evening. I arrived on-site at 16:45 by which time there was quite a large number feeding on the fairways. All birds came in from the east, that is from the Holt/Macgregor suburbs. All
movement ceased by 17:10. I left the area at 17:20. I counted 346 Sulphur-crested Cockatoos and no Corellas. This count fitted in well with the 376 I counted on 2 July. The roost site is in Blue Gums.
This evening I covered the site at Harper Street, Macgregor. I arrived at 16:15 and left at 17:30. I covered the area between the two bridges over Ginninderra Creek and no SCC were seen going to roost. The few birds I did see were all heading
towards the Belconnen Golf Course site. No Corellas were seen or heard.
