A welcome surprise this morning as I stepped out of my car at work in Tuggeranong. A lone Yellow-tufted Honeyeater was perched atop a casuarina by the wetland, being watched by one of the resident White-plumed Honeyeaters. As I was watching I heard a pair of lorikeets fly over heading in the direction of the Murrumbidgee. They sounded like Musks but I can’t be sure.
