I have a roof with a high gable with three hollow pipes at the top. Over many years both Eastern Rosellas and Crimson Rosellas have nested in the pipes (see photo attached). However, rats have since found their way into my roof cavity and I believe they got to a nest by scaling the inside wall. I could seal off the pipes from the inside but I thought a better idea would be to attach a proper nesting box to the inside end of the pipe (inside my roof cavity).

Can anyone advise me on what kind of nesting box to buy and where you can buy them?

Thanks

Ruth
