Spotless Crake underwing

I have seen Spotless Crake flying a number of times but I have never noticed
the white colour on the leading side of the underwing. This became obvious
while reviewing some video I took recently which included the bird taking
off. The white marginal coverts are described in HANZAB and shown in the
illustration of the species flying but it does not appear as white on the
HANZAB illustration published by NZ birds online as it does in the attached
image. This difference may be the result of the process of converting HANZAB
into pdf format.

Yes it's a minor thing but I had not previously noticed the white marginal
coverts.
