On Sunday, we came across this flock of over 40 Major Mitchell's Cockatoo west of Temora on a road not far off the Burley Griffin Way (only part of the flock in the photo). To add to this wonderful sight, a tight flock of over 50 Superb Parrot was feeding in the paddock adjacent to the tree. There were other small flocks of Superb Parrot flying around in the area as well which made it hard to estimate the overall number. I could of watched for hours but unfortunately it was late in the afternoon with the light fading fast. Steve Attachment:
