Hi all
Yesterday evening I was watching a mate play rugby for Royals against Vikings
at Viking Park in Erindale. For about 30 minutes or so around sunset I watched
8-9 groups of ibis flying in V formations, heading directly west. High flying
birds and really poor light meant I couldn't pick the species. One group had
40-45 birds. Must have been 150+ birds in total. No idea where they were coming
from, and I wonder where the roost location is!
