I run the COG beginners walk there on the peninsula each August. We've seen the
shrike-tits on most occasions. Usually in the west car park or along the road
closer to the east car park.
One time, I observed four birds on a car mirror in the west car park. I was
there early and the birds moved on before any of the beginner birdos turned up!
