While doing crossword in the garden recently with a small lap-desk on my knees, a female of this species alighted/perched on the edge of the ‘deskette’, moved slowly forward, all the while with a meaning look, then reached forward & nudged my fingertips several times to indicate that a snack w’d be appreciated.
