These are stunning Julie. Thanks so much for posting. I would love to see them in real life sometime.

 

On another matter bird related, I did a bird illustration workshop last weekend. The one at Jerra run by Peter Marsack. Would it be ok if I draw some of your photos? Ie print out and attempt to make drawing. No promises about quality at this point I'm afraid.

For anyone interested I have put together an album of photos of the Red-capped Robin pair that bred three times over the past few months near Yerrabi Pond in Amaroo. 

 

I have included brief information with the photos. The juveniles of each brood are there and also photos of the male as he moulted and developed his beautiful adult plumage.

 

Photos date from late November through to my most recent sighting of the male a week ago.
