Excellent stuff Ryu.  It sounds as though it has moved a little bit.   The image below shows where COG WW saw it and Ryu is the general area where I think you mean.

Presumably the same individual that was reported during last month's Wednesday Walk is still present at Point Hut. 
From the picnic area, head back towards Jim Pike Ave along the gated disused road. It was last sighted on a willow at the western end of the stagnent water there (not the Murrumbidgee itself)
A platypus was also present.
