I've been advised of a walk being run by Waterwatch along a section of the Badja River at Numeralla (which is in the Cooma area). It's this coming Saturday (21st) 9.30-12.30.

If you are interested in going along, contact Antia at  coomawaterwatch@gmail.com for more detailed info and directions to the meeting point. I will be going.  There's a very good chance of seeing yellow-tufted honeyeaters, which are common around Numeralla, although it's not specifically a bird walk. I will almost certainly make a day of it and check out a couple of other places there, where I've birded previously, although I'm told the river walk is in an area I've not been before.
