On Thursday 19 April the regular Thursday talk at the ANBG will be by Dr Leo Joseph from CSIRO, well-known to many COG members, who will give a talk titled "News from the front: an update on bird research at the Australian National Wildlife Collection and around the world"

a few weeks later (17 May) Dr Lizzie Wandrag will talk on ' The impact of bird loss on tropoical forests: a case study from Guam', and on 31 May Professor Robert Magrath will talk on 'Alarm calls and eavesdropping in wild bird populations'

The talks are in the theatre across from the visitor centre, and entry is by gold coin donation.  You can find a full list of Thursday talks, and a little more information on each, on the Botanic Gardens Friends website at https://www.friendsanbg.org.au/calendar_talks
