Escaping from the fog up Mt Ainslie this morning, I explored the Lower
Beacon Track. Beautiful ridge-top forest - small bands of Yellow-faced
Honeyeaters were flying overhead, mostly eastwards; lot of pardalotes of
both species; and a number of Golden Whistlers. At one point six individual
Golden Whistlers (two males, two females and two young birds) were in view,
accompanied by a male Rufous Whistler, all actively feeding.
