I've just been to a little unnamed woodland area off Namatjira Drive in Fisher, and there were many small groups (5-20 per group) of YFHEs flying over and "chip-chipping" as they went. Heading away from the river towards Mt Taylor

Flocks of YFHEs moving east over my place all morning. Up to 35-40 birds at a time, but more often in groups of 5-10. Based on what I’ve seen so far, numbers are definitely up on previous years. |
