I heard a female Koel repeatedly calling on Sunday morning (18th) from a tree in Piper Street, Ainslie.
I then briefly heard a male from Hannan Cres.
When I mentioned this to a friend, he said he heard them in O'Connor (south), but I don't know if male or female.

Hello subscribers,
According to the eBird Australia database Koels were last reported in the ACT on Saturday 17 March.
So if you have seen or heard any since, or do so over the next week or so could you please let me know?
Also if you have seen any koel fledglings this season and have not yet reported them to me or this chat line could you please let me know together with some brief details such as date(s), location, identity of the host and any other observations you might
have made that you think might be of interest.
Many thanks for your kind consideration.
