Snakes are still active at Jerra. This afternoon at around 2:30pm a Brown Snake near the carpark, and a Red-bellied Black near the office.
The cows in the paddock were also making a racket, it turned out there was a plastic bag attacking the herd. They gathered in a circle around it to check it out, then the wind blew, and almost caused a stampede! This was repeated several times. I guess
it did not act like a cattle egret...
