Driving along the Hume this afternoon, a very large number of swifts (too high, too fast for me to get a decent look while driving) circling near Marulan. Don't know if they were needletails or fork-tailed swifts. There was a bit of misty rain around, and threatening
cloud. 30 or 40 birds.
