Just returned from 2 days in Kosciuszko with a school group. Small numbers of
white-throated needletails seen both days near Charlottes Pass. Boobook heard
at Sawpit campground, where I woke up at 3:54am to find a possum on my sleeping
bag peering down at me! It had broken into my tent and some of my food, before
apparently coming over to check me out. Over the next 40 minutes, it returned
3x to try and get back in, seemingly aware of the function of the zipper.
