Many possibilities. Maybe they don’t want people dumping stolen shopping trolleys or bicycles there. That seems a more likely reason than wanting to stop evidence of the birds and other natural history.

As well as finding out interesting things about the location of security cameras I was intrigued to find that Edgeworth Pond now resembles an internment camp.  Pretty much the whole pond is blocked off by fencing.  

 

One wonders what TAMS is trying to hide there: perhaps they don't want evidence of the birds and other natural history of the area before the rest of the area is graced with trashy housing?
