More car break ins @Callum Brae

Hi all,

I am a volunteer at Domestic Animal Service and I have heard that a car was recently broken in on Wednesday at DAS car park.  I now hide away anything looking valuable.

 Still I agree it is a safer place.  I am on duty on Monday morning and I will keep eye on cars at the carpark for you!!

Thanks for these reminders. Assume Campb Pk is safer due to contiguity of govt offfices.

I now park up at Animal Services on Mugga Lane, which has a small carpark outside the gate. More passing traffic and close to the AS offices, which hopefully will deter the low-lifes. About a 10min walk down to the Callum Brae entrance.

Yesterday two cars at Callum Brae were broken into, even when there was nothing left in the car. Obviously they think there may just be something in the glove box.

It is such a shame that many of us now think think seriously about, and even decide not to visit these sites ie Callum Brae, Pine Island and Jerrabomberra Wetlands.
