I notice tomorrow’s weekly twilight orienteering is to take place tomorrow with the start at Diddam’s Close, apparently very close to the cuckoo-infested elms.  My purpose in raising this is (a)  to advise cuckoo-watchers to avoid the area after 430pm and (b) to ask whether I am likely to see any interesting waterbirds if the weather tempts me to take part and I find myself near the shores of the lake.
