Fairy terns are breeding well in Fremantle.  The report that I received said "North Fremantle's colony of fairy terns are having a bumper breeding season--' '--162 nests with eggs or nestlings, and 70 banded walking chicks, were counted recently'.

Unfortunately I am not getting to WA the way that I used to, when I would see these terns for myself, very exciting.  There was no mention in this article about the fact that the terns are also breeding at Mandurah, and further south.
