I have many regular avian visitors to the bird bath in my front yard in Hawker.
The last 30 minutes or so has seen a frenzy of activity, with the following visiting for a bath or a drinkBrown-headed Honeyeater x 1
These birds are all regular daily visitors but rarely compete for time at the bath. The two juvenile spinebills didn't like any other birds being in the bath with them.
Weebills and a Double-barred Finch visited the bath earlier in the day. Both species of rosella also visit the water often but were too busy today eating apples from the tree in the backyard.
We have a few hot days coming up so be sure to keep your bird baths topped up with fresh water!
Cheers
Anthony
