I had one sitting on the power line over my fence yesterday. I saw it as I
was washing dishes. Sat still for long enough for me to get a good view with
binoculars. Lia B. also saw it near my house whilst she was out with her
dog. Though not often here. One young bird, for a day on last year's GBS
chart. One this year, only occasional other than that. I did also see one
along Mugga Way a few months ago.

Hi. There don't seem to have been too many recent conversations
regarding Dollarbirds in the region (or I missed them), but we had 2
Dollarbirds land in our garden today. They were definitely travelling
together, and maybe looking for a suitable hollow in the area. Last seen
heading towards Canberra. A species we have only a few records of here
over the years.
