Mugga Way hey. I saw a pair perched between Red Hill and Davidson Hill behind there one evening past November, near the big junction of the trails. First time I’d seen them so far from the usual haunts along the river.

I had one sitting on the power line over my fence yesterday. I saw it as I
was washing dishes. Sat still for long enough for me to get a good view with
binoculars. Lia B. also saw it near my house whilst she was out with her
dog. Though not often here. One young bird, for a day on last year's GBS
chart. One this year, only occasional other than that. I did also see one
along Mugga Way a few months ago.

Hi. There don't seem to have been too many recent conversations
regarding Dollarbirds in the region (or I missed them), but we had 2
Dollarbirds land in our garden today. They were definitely travelling
together, and maybe looking for a suitable hollow in the area. Last seen
heading towards Canberra. A species we have only a few records of here
over the years.
