On Wednesday Frances and I walked around East Basin recording 40 species as we did so.  The first sighting was 18 domestic geese of one sort or another at the canoe club.  Is it not time that the ACT Government opened a paté processing plant or in some other way removed these birds from the ecosystem?

I have received a report of a Koel this morning from Wanna Wanna Rd (runs off Captains Flat Rd behind Cuumbeun).
