I have 2 pairs of upper end Pentax bins and have Pentax bins for over 20
years and have been very happy with the, as well as the 2 p
Pentax scopes I have used. The only problem I have ever had with Pentax
optics, is when I went A over T in A saltwater lake. While carrying a pain
of non waterproof 8x50s. They, as well as me were completely submerged.
They were right, they were not waterproof. The small puddles of water
inside, did not improve the clarity. Aside from that little incident, I
have never had any problems with any Pentax optics, sporting, photographic
or astronomical (Pentax scope eyepieces are actually from their
astronomical range and are brilliant).
