Time to re-inflict on this chatline the below from Nov 2013.  What went wrong, people ask.  So much was expected of the Superb Fairy-wren but it seems to be captive of the hard right of its corner of the woodland.  No wonder the electorate is turning to cassowaries.

Apologies to those who've already seen the page linked below on First Dog on the Moon or birding-aus but it is IMHO very amusing.

 

My suspicion is that Brenda the Civil Disobedience Penguin will get a lot of support in late voting.
