Very interesting Steve, it makes you wonder how many others from the Red-capped robin influx over the past couple of months are staying to breed. On 1/11 one was calling from the same location where I saw two brown-coloured birds 6 weeks before on 20/9.
I couldn’t find it this time, but it’s worth going back and having a closer check. Jack Holland
