I payed quick visits to each of these last week.
 
There is plenty of water at both and a reasonable variety of birds – probably more than the 40 odd  species I recorded at each so worth a visit if anyone is thinking of heading out (slightly) west.
 
Plenty of Black Winged Stilts at each spot plus lots of Sharp-tailed Sandpipers.  No Brolgas at Fivebough unfortunately nor any Crimson Chats or White Winged Fairy Wrens at Lake C where we hoped to find them.
 
Interestingly we saw Scarlet Honeyeaters at Muringo Gap (between Booroowa and the Young-Cowra road) and at Bright.  I’ve not previously seen them at either spot
