since I'm making daily trips for the next week to Jerrabomberra to feed my son's dog, I dropped in at Lake Jerrabomberra in the early afternoon. There was a single Pink-eared Duck on the lake among all the other usual suspects, and a male Satin
Flycatcher on the side away from houses (across narrow section of lake from the enormous white house). A coot sitting on eggs had a very well hidden nest inside a clump of reeds - photo in list.
