A leisurely drive along Yass River Road and side roads this afternoon produced some highlights:

  • 7 White-fronted Chats
  • 1 Hooded Robin (male)
  • 1 Diamond Firetail (at Chat site)
  • 18 White-browed Woodswallows (2 sites)
  • 2 Masked Woodswallows
  • 3 Dusky Woodswallows
  • 2 Wedge-tailed Eagles  (on the ground being harassed)
  • 2 Horsfield's Bronze-cuckoos (2 sites)
  • 3 Pallid Cuckoos (3 sites)
As well as all the usual migrants including gerygones, whistlers, orioles, kingfishers, dollarbirds, martins, trillers, etc.

Cheers
Marnix
