Geoffrey will be pleased to hear that a White-backed Swallow was evident at the Wanganella Swamp/TSR last Monday.  The campground at Wanganella was very pleasant for us to try out our new tent once the fierce wind stopped trying to blow it into the Billabong Creek.  I have never seen as many Brown Treecreepers as at that site, and a flock of 50-100 White-browed Woodswallows were constantly overhead.

Heading towards Deniliquin we noted what looked like White-backed Swallow nest burrows at Box Creek (off the Cobb Hwy) and in the Deniliquin Pistol Club grounds at Pretty Pine.
