Pallid Cuckoos and pig damage on Bluetts Block

These are not related to each other except they have both been present on Bluetts Block.

 

Feral Pigs have made quite an extensive mess towards the bottom back left corner of the reserve.  They appear to have come in under the back fence next to the gully.

 

There also seem to be lots of Pallid and other Cuckoos about in the last days. Yesterday I saw 4 Pallid Cuckoo and 2 Horsfields Bronze Cuckoo on Narrabundah Hill and today more Cuckoos on Bluetts.

 

This is the first time I have seen so many and so many varieties of Cuckoo.  Sign of the dry?
