Whilst cats are obviously a major problem I'd like to suggest that land clearance kills many times more birds than cats do (and makes it easier for feral cats to prey on the remaining birds). And of course with the shameful Campbell Newman land clearance
laws still in force in Qld and the even more shameful NSW land clearance laws just introduced this total is only going up and up.
