Obviously the first attempt escaped. Sorry about that.
Highlights of Kelly's Swamp today were a Baillon's Crake patrolling in front of Cygnus Hide and a lone Freckled Duck and 2 Pink-eared Duck on the log in the middle of the main water body.
The FORBIDDEN PONDS looked more like the FORBIDDEN BOWLING GREEN and the birds seem to have acted accordingly by being largely absent. However some Whiskered Terns were visible and when viewed from the Monaro
Highway aspect I counted at least 5 of that species.
I also finally got onto the European Greenfinches a little down Dairy rd - one of which flew in to the Forbidden Zone and perched.
