What a lucky twitcher I’ve been lately! Many thanks Jean and others whose eBird sightings of the Chestnut-rumped Heathwren gave me another “lifer” today. It didn’t even take long to find considering it took me at least 20 minutes of driving up and down Uriarra Road just to find Bluett’s Block!  It wasn’t nearly as elusive as I’d expected. It hopped around among leaf litter in full sight only about 4 metres away for some minutes. I could say exactly where, but not sure I should on a public list?

Cheers,

Sue Beatty
