Some more comparisons of the size of Baillon’s Crake – to a male Australian Shelduck (up to 2kg but average 1.5kg) and to Australian Spotted Crake (average about 60g). In the shelduck comparison, the Baillon’s is below and to the left of the black rectangle. In the other comparison, the Baillon’s and the Spotted are standing in nearly the same spot, separated in time by a couple of seconds.
