This morning the first White-throated Gerygone for the season was calling in our garden, and the first Rufous Whistler was down by the Creek.  Of the migrants expected in September I am now only lacking Shining Bronze-Cuckoo and White-naped Honeyeater.

It is possibly a comment on the warmer weather that I have added 6 species to this year's GBS chart in the last 6 days.

The me-too related to Red-capped Robin of which I have just had two, based on the 'telephone' call, in the GBS site.  One was definitely a female, the other was only heard.  They seemed to attract some defensive reactions from a pair of Scarlet Robins.
