This morning I went out with Graeme Clifton to a private property near Bungendore.  The highlight was two Lathams Snipe feeding as though they had just flown from somewhere distant (such as Japan) on the shores of a large dam.

On the way home we stopped at Trucking Yard Lane (where 28 Plumed Whistling Ducks were the highlight) and the 6 Mile TSR where highlights were 2 Varied Sitella; a White-throated Treecreeper carrying food; and sever White-throated Gerygones (my first for the season).

On returning home we saw a Yellow Thornbill and I have just heard the first Noisy Friarbird of the season for ny GBS site.
