What annoys me about this sort of thing is that IF (and that is a bloody big IF) the culprits are caught, and I am finding more and more the local ACT Police aren’t all that interested in anything so “trivial”, all they receive for the court system is a smack on the wrist and told not to do it again. It is about time the judicial system in this country got some judges with guts who are not afraid to hand out substantial custodial sentences.

The ACT Government doesn’t care either!

Two cars (at least) at Pine Island Central broken into this morning via smashed windows. Unfortunately mine was one of them, but I no longer leave anything of value in the car, although it was searched and stuff thrown around. Car next to mine suffered similar fate.  Fortunately it will be fixed tomorrow, so I can still lead the COG outing on Sunday.

was away from the car less than an hour - upside was a male red-capped robin in riverside acacias at Pine Island North
