Thanks to Martin and David for giving the official site for reporting banded and colour banded birds. However if people forget this address, they can always contact me and I can forward any sightings directly or details to the banding office.
I am the Regional Organiser, an honorary position with the Australia Bird and Bat Banding Scheme, and possibly the most experienced bander locally. If you can’t contact me then there are several other active bird banders locally – Richard Allen, Harvey Perkins,
Anthony Overs, Alistair Bestow, Suzi Bond, etc, who are all COG members and who can also pass on the details to the banding scheme.
Also a reminder that the banding team will be operating at the Buddigower Nature Reserve near West Wyalong on the long weekend of September 30 (I will be on site on the Friday afternoon (29) until very early on Monday October 2. This is
an official COG outing if people wish to join the banding team. It is listed in Gang-gang but so far no-one has indicated that they want to come out to see what we do. If interested please contact me asap.
