Yes I have seen them so that as well. Ravens will also save food . 

Many years ago the resident Raven at ADFA would clean up a few tables at the Cafe walk around to the back of the building and bury excess under the bushes. I never saw him come back for it though.

They are also adept at opening take away containers with amazing dexterity .
