Has there been recent sightings of this Powerful Owl in the ANBG? I advised someone I know, who was keen to see it, who did, on 19 August. He said along with many other people who turned up at the same time, several with cameras. I tried on 2 September and asked at the visitors’ centre and was shown on the map several sites of sightings but I was not successful in finding it. I was told the most recent record he knows of was from the previous Wednesday (30 August).
