I was in a running event in Woden today and heard a lot of lorikeet noise from a large flowering gum in (I think) Maclaurin St near the intersection with Plunkett St.  I didn't have the time to check it out, and it mainly sounded like Rainbow Lorikeets but it might be worth someone casting a gaze in the area for less common species.
