Yesterday afternoon the Pink-eared ducks were out and about in the water and while some seemed to be feeding they weren't doing so with such vigour that I was aware of the noise. Everything
else seemed to be upending - including about half the Freckled Ducks, and I am not sure I've ever seen them active like this in the past, they have always seemed to be just squatting on logs or banks.
