From 4.15 pm, while others were watching various football games, I sat outside awaiting the arrival of Red-rumped Parrots into staging trees in my GBS.  27  birds appeared in small lots to the top of 2 deciduous trees.  By 5.10pm they were still there until a couple of SC Cockatoos and a few Galahs screamed around their tree.  This frightened the birds which raced off in alarm in all directions.  I did not see the Collared Sparrowhawk, except by accident shortly after perched in that same tree awaiting an opportunity to catch one the birds still perched in hiding. What happened as the Sparrowhawk flew down is unknown, but any remaining birds in the tree left and flew long distances away calling in distress.

The perching Red-rumps were not previously worried by the arrival in their tree, of 6 King Parrots and quite a few Crimson Rosella.  It seems the Cockatoos did a good job of warning.
