My brother in law who lives in Narrabundah feeds Magpies who I've noticed chase down any European wasp that appears anywhere in his yard. The magpies are very good at catching them so it seems wasps must be quite tasty

Our house eaves have a healthy number of Paper Wasp (Polistes*) nests. In the last two days, I’ve noticed currawongs flying up to the nests and grabbing wasps, then flying down to the deck and eating them. This is the first time I’ve seen this behaviour.
