at the outlet I watched this immature Dusky Moorhen being sprayed with water as it waited for food to come to it. It stood in the same position for over 5 minutes moving its head from side to side. When it did leave the water, it had difficulty walking but I am not sure if it had a physical problem or it was the result of standing still in the flowing water.
