Hi Everyone,

Len & I had a drive to Bungendore this afternoon and stopped briefly at the dams on Hoskinstown Rd just out of town. Highlight was a flock of diamond firetails feeding on the grass, having a splash in a puddle and flying into the trees every time a car passed by.

Also by the side of the road were: yellow-rumped thornbills, yellow-faced, white-plumed & brown-headed honeyeaters, silvereyes, willie wagtails ....

On/near the dam were 2 shelducks, some wood ducks and many black ducks.

Ebird checklist completed ... 26 species  ...

Cheers
